The Parent's Store is your source of books and other resources for preventive parenting. Our goal is to help you parent now to prevent later difficulties with antisocial behavior, addiction and ADHD. The earlier you begin the techniques of prevention we recommend, the greater your chances of complete prevention will be. It is our mission to provide you with the tools you need to parent your at risk child.

On this page you will find books that help you teach your child values and moral concepts in an enjoyable, positive way. The books/tools are grouped by age. According to Dr. Leedom, there are three values that will help an at risk child most. These are Love yourself by action, Love your family/friends by action AND Love your community/Earth by action, These books will help you impart these values to your child.

Many of the selections for Middle and High School kids encourage a social conscience. Remeber your at risk child is energetic and a born leader. It is important to direct his/her energies toward activities he/she can really be proud of and will build character.
